July's Recipe: Reeses Bars (kiwi style)

Kermie since this morning has been asking for the Reeses bar recipe! So here's what I did - sorry no photo as they were all eaten with gusto!

1 jar of homebrand smooth peanut butter (375g)
1 block of chocolate I used whittakers dark Ghana 
2 cups of biscuit crumbs - I bashed the living daylights out of a packet of Arrnot's Nice you could use wine (needs to be fine crumb)
300g of butter melted 
2 cups of icing sugar 
Pinch of salt 

Method:
Mix melted butter, salt, 1 cup of peanut butter, icing sugar and smashed up biscuit crumbs together. Spread in ungreased tin. I used two loaf tins coz thats what I had.
Melt block of chocolate (minus three rows chef's treat) with 4 table spoons of peanut butter over double boiler or in microwave Spread over peanut mixture and voila! Let set for an hour before cutting into desired shapes Enjoy!
